Notes The Eltham writer Nina Christensen used to hold fancy Christmas parties every year, which my Grandmother would attend. She gave my grandmonther three Russian easter eggs to pass on as gifts to me, my brother and sister. This is mine - the others are gone.

This is a beautifully decorated egg. Is it a real egg, or is it ceramic?
